This Sleeking Bone is used primarily to restore smoothness to Cordovan shoes. The bone is about 8” in length and tapered at the end for accessing small, awkward spaces. The snake-headed sleeking bone is used to recompress fibres and pores to restore the original appearance to the material.
To use, rub the large side of the bone along the shoe in a circular motion with a little bit neutral shoe cream or Venetian neutral leather balm. Once the scuff marks and other impressions have been removed, brush and buff the leather. Polish normally, and enjoy the smooth, newer appearance of your shoes.
Picture is showing five, but this is for only one piece.
