The Alden Shoe Company was founded in 1884 by Charles H. Alden in Middleborough, Massachusetts. Alden is now the only original New England shoe and boot maker remaining of the hundreds that began so long ago. Still a family owned business, and still carrying forward a tradition of quality genuine-welted shoemaking that is exceptional in every way.
Brogue is one of Alden's best stores in the world with over 200 exclusive designs.Â
Mack, the owner, has been collecting Alden shoes since 2008. He has over 300 pairs Alden shoes, 82 pairs of them are exotic shell cordovan (by 2020). The number is keep increasing every year. Mack designed all the exclusive Alden shoes for Brogue. To Mack, Alden is a hobby, a passion, and a lifestyle rather than a business.
