We are proud to offer Alden's iconic Work Boot, model 403. This is the original Alden work boot, in brown Horween Chromexcel leather, made famous in the Indiana Jones movies series, thus its popular moniker, the "Indy Boot".
The 403 indy boot is built on Alden's Footbalance system and Trubalance last, first developed over 50 years ago. The Trubalance last provides a superior support system for most foot types, thanks to its long heel counters and rubber Thomas heel.
The long inside heel counters allow the foot to be properly supported from the heel to the ball, on both sides. The high toe box allows for full movement of all toes.
The shape of the rubber Thomas heel provides stability and comfort by preventing over-pronation.
The "Trubalance" last runs approximately one-half size large. We recommend that you order one half size smaller than your typical dress shoe size.

Alden shoes are crafted with and attention to detail in their Massachusetts factory. They are still using some old machines from decades ago even over 100 years old, , only for keeping the beautiful traditional classic details as seen in the good old days.
It's important to note that due to the handmade process, some minor imperfections may occur because they're not bench made by high tech modern machines with that high precision. These imperfections are a part of the unique character of the shoes and should not be seen as flaws. Just like our feet, no two shoes are exactly the same and perfect.

Returns & Exchanges
We accept returns and exchanges on full-price items within:
• 10 days of delivery for online orders
• 7 days of purchase for in-store orders
All returns and cancellations incur a 6% restocking fee due to non-refundable Shopify transaction fees.
Items must be returned in original new condition — no creases, marks, stains, or odors.
• A $100 fee will apply for any visible wear.
• Worn items may be sent back with no refund.
Refunds go to the original payment method. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
