Old Joe Stunning Deerskin Adastra Jacket
A new leather jacket that evokes the meticulous craftsmanship of the 1930s. The collar, cuffs, and hem feature original knitted ribs made from a custom blend of cotton and hemp with varying densities. Each section incorporates different knitting techniques—such as ribbing and needle-drop patterns—creating subtle design variations.
Within its simple overall appearance, you can appreciate the thoughtful, old-school design elements. One particularly unique feature is the waist pockets: the body fabric is cut away and the zipper is exposed and directly attached, giving the jacket a distinctive construction detail.
The original chain slider is also custom-made, with the ball portion finished in a hammered texture. Additionally, through repeated trial and error, an original hand-patina process has been developed, allowing you to fully appreciate the beautiful aging characteristics of the leather.
The material is a supple, full-bodied deer skin with a soft, rich texture. Made from New Zealand raw hides and chrome-tanned, it is characterized by its fine grain and smooth feel against the skin. With wear, it is expected to become even softer over time.
The lining uses linen harvested in the Flanders region, combined into a cotton-linen moleskin fabric. It features an elegant slub texture and a cool, refreshing touch. Loosely woven with moderate thickness and finished with a garment wash, it achieves a naturally full and textured feel.
