This “U.S. NAVY ALASKA NAVAL STATION” Type N-1 jacket pays homage to the rugged cold-weather gear issued by the Navy Department during the 1940s.
It features an authentic 3-layer construction: a paraffin-coated jungle cloth outer shell, heavy flannel interlining, and a warm alpaca fur lining for maximum insulation and durability.
The front chest print is done in vintage-style rubber, while the bold “U.S. NAVY” on the back is rendered in a reflector print—representing the name of the base: Naval Station Kodiak, Alaska.
