Freewheelers Chopper Builder Work Trousers
These trousers are built around a fictional backstory set in the 1950s–1960s, imagining a work pant custom-ordered from Union Special by a motorcycle garage called Motor Cyclone Garage, based in Oakland, California. Reflecting this story, the garment features a double-name label bearing both Union Special and Motor Cyclone.
The trousers come with a button-fly front and waist adjusters for fit control. The front pockets are arranged in a distinctive layout, with two stacked pockets on each side, extending into the double-knee panels.
At the back, patch pockets are used, and the design is completed with a hammer loop and a side tool pocket, emphasizing classic workwear functionality.
The fabric is cotton corduroy, approximately 10-wale, featuring relatively fine ribs while maintaining a solid thickness and firm hand. Although corduroy is rarely used for double-knee work pants, this choice reflects the era’s growing sense of fashion-conscious workwear, blending durability with distinctive style.
