A timeless painter-style work trouser, designed with authentic workwear details such as double knees and a hammer loop. Its wide silhouette adds a bold, relaxed edge, while the selective use of tone-on-tone stitching introduces a fresh, refined expression to a classic piece.Crafted from 10.7oz denim using heavily slubbed Zimbabwe cotton for the warp and naturally irregular slub yarns for the weft. The fabric is woven with a slightly higher warp thread count in a 2/1 right-hand twill, which gives a flatter appearance compared to the more prominent 3/1 twill.

Although the surface appears smooth, the irregular textures of both the warp and weft create subtle, tasteful variations that lend depth to the fabric. The warp is rope-dyed with pure indigo, resulting in a rich, deep indigo blue that is uniquely Japanese. Over time, the denim will develop a beautiful patina, revealing its character through wear.
