Belafonte was started in 2012 by Noboru Tanaka in Japan. All the clothing are inspired from 1940s to 1960s old American styles. They try not to make a copy of the vintage clothing but with some new fresh details and try out lots of different fabrics to make the best pieces to accommodate the contemporary demand with some old school vintage details.
