The material, characterized by distinctive neps unique to raw silk yarns, presents a look that is both primitive and modern.
It’s a sustainable cotton-silk blend, made from organic cotton grown in Turkey and recycled silk (a byproduct called “bourette” from the silk spinning process). The fabric has a moderately firm texture, and while containing silk, it has a vintage-like feel thanks to the visible neps.
