Freewheelers Bakersfield Trousers

These trousers are inspired by double-knee work pants from the 1950s onward. Imagined as a special order by Motorcyclone Garage, they reflect a rugged, utility-focused design tailored in collaboration with Union Special. As such, the trousers feature dual branding—Union Special × Motorcyclone.

Fabric & Construction

• Made from cotton duck cloth, woven on traditional shuttle looms.

• The fabric is relatively lightweight, making it more comfortable for everyday use while still offering durability.

Design Features

• Triple-stitched rolled seams on both inseam and outseam for reinforcement.

• Button-fly front with sturdy tack buttons.

• Slanted hip pockets for easy access.

• The double-knee paneling includes an integrated upper pocket—a practical design element rooted in classic workwear.

• Back pockets feature an asymmetrical design:

  • Left side: a pleated patch pocket.

  • Right side: clean and simple.

• Additional tool pocket located on the right thigh.

• UFO rivets are placed throughout for extra reinforcement at stress points.

• Features a wide, relaxed silhouette, ideal for work or casual wear.
