Old Joe's signature vegetable-tanned horsehide is crafted using an original recipe and hand-aged to achieve the look and character of a well-loved piece — robust, beautiful, and full of life. The most distinctive feature is the uniquely shaped, three-compartment D-pocket, reminiscent of classic aviator jackets. Unlike conventional rider’s jackets, this piece features sports cuffs, a belted back, and a gently curved front line that evoke the refined, elegant atmosphere of its era.

The chain slider on the pocket zippers is an original design, created from a custom mold, with an Art Deco-inspired motif that adds a subtle touch of balance and sophistication.

The horsehide has a rough, uneven texture and a rugged, wild finish with natural color variations. Unlike softer horse leathers, this material intentionally retains its natural grain and irregularities, making each jacket a one-of-a-kind piece with its own unique tone and feel.

The lining is made from fine wool tweed by ABRAHAM MOON & SONS, a prestigious British mill established in 1837. Crafted from Shetland wool, it offers the firm, substantial texture characteristic of authentic British wool
