This is a new model Alden company released this year（2023）, unlined Van last penny loafer with a light weight thin rubber leisure III sole and heel. The shoe is soft, breathable and super comfortable. Van last is a classic last for making the penny loafers. This year, Alden uses the new khrone stitching method to make the mocc stitch. Thus, the shoes are more low profiled and more casual. Highly recommend !

Alden shoes are crafted with and attention to detail in their Massachusetts factory. They are still using some old machines from decades ago even over 100 years old, , only for keeping the beautiful traditional classic details as seen in the good old days.
It's important to note that due to the handmade process, some minor imperfections may occur because they're not bench made by high tech modern machines with that high precision. These imperfections are a part of the unique character of the shoes and should not be seen as flaws. Just like our feet, no two shoes are exactly the same and perfect.
If you have any concerns about quality control, we're more than happy to provide pictures before you make a purchase. We want to ensure that you're completely satisfied with your Alden shoes.

Returns & Exchanges
We accept returns and exchanges on full-price items within:
• 10 days of delivery for online orders
• 7 days of purchase for in-store orders
All returns and cancellations incur a 6% restocking fee due to non-refundable Shopify transaction fees.
Items must be returned in original new condition — no creases, marks, stains, or odors.
• A $100 fee will apply for any visible wear.
• Worn items may be sent back with no refund.
Refunds go to the original payment method. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
