This piece is part of a special line under the “FREEWHEELERS” label—created to intentionally go beyond traditional historical frameworks. It presents a modern take on vintage style, updated for contemporary wear while retaining the essence of classic utility design.

Crafted from cotton jungle cloth, a tough and functional fabric known for its durability, the reverse side has been lightly brushed for added comfort.

• Oversized chest pockets with pleats and dot-button closures, adding utility and visual impact. A pen holder is integrated on the left side.

• Compact collar with a classic chin strap detail.

• Double-zip front closure for versatile layering and mobility.

• Slanted slash pockets positioned near the waist for easy access.

• Adjustable ladder-lock buckles at both the waist and cuffs for a precise fit.

• Gussets under the arms, each with metal eyelets to provide ventilation and range of motion.

This is a custom-printed model, inspired by mid-century motor culture. The jacket features graphic artwork referencing Gilmore Oil Company, a historic sponsor of events such as the legendary Muroc dry lake races.

On the back, a striking white-based red lion graphic creates a bold visual contrast. Adding to the unique feel, the design is printed over the original “U.S. NAVY” stencil, simulating a post-service customization—rich in narrative and full of vintage character.
