We are pleased to introduce the “Jam Buster” from Freewheelers’ UNION SPECIAL OVERALLS line.
The name Jam Buster refers to an assistant yardmaster, the worker who supported operations in railroad switching yards.

This is an original design inspired by casquettes from the 1910s–1920s. It features an 8-panel construction with no snap button, allowing for a clean, classic look. The volume of the crown can be styled freely—worn forward or pushed toward the back—depending on your preference.

This model is crafted from cowhide leather. The leather undergoes a unique process in which it is first chrome-tanned, then the chrome is removed using a special method before being re-tanned with vegetable tannins. As a result, the leather offers a soft, elastic feel with moderate firmness. With continued use, a natural luster develops on the surface, allowing you to enjoy its evolving character over time.
