Belafonte Ragtime Doromole Slub Yarn Open Collar Shirt

The fabric used in the Doromole Slub Yarn series is designed to evolve over time. It features a dark brown surface layer with a lighter brown core, so as the top layer gradually fades through wear, the lighter tone beneath becomes more visible.

Similar to raw denim, the character of the fabric develops based on how it’s worn. Frequent use and more rugged treatment will create more pronounced fading and natural discoloration. Over time, this can produce distinctive streaks at stress points—especially around the upper thighs—resembling the “whisker” patterns commonly seen in well-worn jeans.

The fabric weighs approximately 10 oz and is made from 100% cotton. It uses yarns of varying thickness in the warp and weft, creating subtle texture and depth that enhance its unique aging process.
