Introducing the Combat Utility Trousers from Freewheelers' "UNION SPECIAL OVERALLS" line. These trousers are inspired by civilian version of the trousers, OG-107, commonly known as "baker pants," used by the US Army. Back then, civilian versions with cargo pockets existed, and this design draws from that era, although it's unclear if the cargo pockets were original or added later as customizations.
The fabric is pre-dyed cotton herringbone, using both warp and weft threads with strong twisted yarn, dyed with sulfur dye. They feature a button fly at the front. While the main closure features 13-star tack buttons, urea buttons are used for the pocket flaps, following the motif of the original design. Unlike the standard OG-107, which had an integrated waistband, these trousers have a separate waistband.
The cargo pockets have gussets for extra space, and they come with a civilian name tag from Union Special. With a deep rise, ample room in the thighs and hips, and a wide hem, these trousers have a generous silhouette. Give them a try!
