Freewheelers "Montauk" Shirt
"GREAT LAKES GMT.MFG.CO." Label
Inspired by 1920-1930s Outdoor Sports Clothing
Color: Olive
The model name comes from a town on the east side of Long Island, New York, and is inspired by the outdoor sports shirts from the 1920s and 30s.
The fabric is a cotton hemp weather cloth. The uneven texture of the fabric gives it a firm feel but is soft to the touch. There is a chin strap on the collar and padding on both shoulders. The chest pocket with flap is pleated. There is a union label inside the right pocket. The buttons are engraved nut buttons. The front hem has a rounded design. There is a gusset on the side slit.
Ventilation holes on the back yoke, with pleats on the back.
The details are beautiful. It's very easy to wear as a spring/fall top or as an inner layer in the winter.
