Freewheelers USAF Air Crew Utility Trousers

These trousers are inspired by 1950s civilian military clothing, blending functional design with a vintage military aesthetic.

The fabric is a cotton military deck cord cloth, featuring a visible wale texture and a crisp, structured hand feel.

The design is based on trousers once used by the U.S. Air Force. Unlike standard Army utility trousers, these feature several unique details:

• Dual tool pockets on the front sides

• Asymmetrical back pockets—one with a flap and concealed button closure

• Pleats near the front pockets

• Darts at the back for shaping

• Side adjusters with stud-button fasteners placed differently than Army versions

The labeling carries a civilian UNION SPECIAL tag, highlighting the crossover between military inspiration and civilian wear.
