The jacket is made using a unique sulfide dyeing process with original colors, allowing the material to age beautifully over time, developing a rich patina. The jacket is reversible, offering two distinct looks: a velvet side and a rayon quilting side, each showcasing different expressions of traditional Japanese aesthetics — the duality of "Wabi-Sabi" (rustic simplicity) and "Miyabi" (elegance).

The velvet fabric is woven with weft threads to create a pile, which is then cut to form a surface covered in short, soft fibers. Due to its twill weave, the fabric is densely woven, resulting in a soft texture, rich luster, and vibrant color, making it a high-quality textile. The rayon quilting side uses sustainable TENCEL™ Modal fibers, offering a mid-weight material with a supple feel. It has a powdery soft touch and a matte yet subtly glossy surface, providing a gentle, natural sheen and a smooth, luxurious feel against the skin.
